Habitrol Gum (1 - 3 of 3)

Habitrol nicotine gum is a smoking cessation aid and can help reduce cravings and withdrawal symptoms. The stop-smoking program is for those who cannot quit "cold-turkey." Additionally, it is used by smokers who are not ready to stop entirely and need a temporary nicotine replacement.

A 2mg and 4mg dosage gum contains about one-sixth to one-third nicotine of a cigarette, which can mimic its effects, but does not have the other harmful chemicals.  Each piece of gum is square in shape and whitish in color. They are coated for longer-lasting flavor and sugar-free. Mint and fruit flavors are available in the 2mg and 4mg dosages. Twelve pieces of gum are in each easy pop-out foil sheet.

The 4mg dosage is for those who smoke within 30 minutes of waking up in the morning or smoke more than 20 cigarettes a day.  The 2mg dosage is for those who smoke less than 20 cigarettes a day.
